I have some ideas for exotic catalysts, bungie pls read it, discuss with team etc.

have been wondering why not just create catalysts for the oldest exotics at least, maybe not enought ideas. discuss it among yourselves i will be just happy if you add some of those missing catalysts. catalyst usually boosts perks with 1 masterwork stat, will try to think. ok well here are the ideas: Wish-Ender: Already got infinite wallhack with hunter exotic gauntlet so focus on hits. Queen’s bounty: targets hit by wish-ender take double/more damage from wish ender, similar to ruinous effigy + decreased draw time. Also draw time is not really needed,maybe adding anti barrier makes it popular Malfeasance: Explosion, well then it’s simple. Explosive blight: slug explosion size increased (5 to 8 meter radius?) with 1 additional big explosion + reload masterwork or maybe triggered explosion reload 5 ammo from reserves The Chaperone: The draw: able to hold roadborn stacks, hold square to use stacked buff, damage 1x 17%, 2x 25%, 3x 33% + increased reload speed. if needed pvp wise range can be nerfed The Last word: Hip fire so. Precise Shot: precision shots reload 1 ammo from reserves + masterworked magazine size to 10. Arbalest: When it came out, tought its the match game counter. Elemental force: deals massively increased damage against elemental shields(basically just ignore the match game modifier or able to switch between all elements for that 1 shot) and gains anti barrier shots + masterworked reload speed. Thorn: Poison, necrotic grip spreads so. Soul Harvester: spawns 1 additional remnant and remnant absorbing range doubled + masterwork magazine 15 ammo or masterwork range. Monte Carlo: Great auto rifle, dunno maybe. Markov’s boost: any charged melee ability staggers unstoppable champions and restores 33% melee energy when you stun a champion Or when melee is fully charged grants energy to other abilities, but the other abilities recharge small amounts, like 1% per bullet. + masterwork magazine to 50 Bastion: Uhm, staggers champions but it needs base pve damage buff. But still useless against unstoppables since low magazine, high charge time, so they regain thei damage resistance, here’s my idea: Siegebreaker: gain 1 stack of siegebreaker per kill up to 5, 1x 25%, 2x 50%, 3x 75 %, 4x 100%(double damage) , 5x 125-150% increase, when you stun an unstoppable you immediately gain 5 stacks + reload masterwork. Traveler’s chosen: Uhm, ability regen? Blessing of light: activating perk grants small amount of ability energy to teammates in pve or grants 2 stacks per kill + masterwork stability Wavesplitter: Uhm....lasers. they still lack damage. Overcharged battery: while overcharged is active this weapon stuns overload champions, orbs of light stacks battery charges up to 3 times, 1x 11%, 2x 22%, 3x 33% + increased reserves. Jotunn: Well, it’s a toaster. Second Toast: shoots additional projectile, maybe decrease damage of the two projectiles so their damage added up becomes 1.2 times the original shot + reload masterwork or reload 1 ammo from reserves on each hit, gain unstoppable perk + charge time decrease. Le Monarque: Love to spam arrow after arrow, I would like more in reserves. Corrosive bite: each time a combatant is hit with poison(from arrow or spread poison) the poison damage stacks up (similar to necrotic grip) + increased reserves. Tarrabah: Inconsistent perk + eats up ammo, simple: Caged beast: can hold the charge while it’s off hand and taking damage while off hand also charges up the perk + increased reserves(+ 180 in reserves). Divinity: They say proper use is spamming the button, hurts my finger, means ammo, several choices also its damage is the lowest from trace rifles. Salvation: regenerates ammo over time or halves the consumption speed of ammo(keeps rate of fire but consumes less ammo per second) + increased reserves(up to 999 pls). Devil’s ruin: Tried it against unstoppable but not enough time and it just eats up ammo. Devil’s trick/deal: when using the laser always leave 1 ammo in magazine Or holding down the trigger continuously fires the ammo until reserves run out + increased reserves (150 more in reserves or more). Cloudstrike: Great fast firing sniper, eats up ammo fast (need 12 more in reserves) and feels weak in damage, all snipers need a 10% buff or even just a 5% one, they were popular because of garden of salvation, also lightning storm inconsistent but that can’t be helped. Everlasting storm: adds triple tap + increased reserves (to 40). Or fourth time’s the charm + increased reserves (to 44) Or each activation of lightning reloads 1 ammo from reserves + increased reserves (to 40) One Thousand voices: Sluggish, also like to round numbers up. Wishing bones: decreases charge time to 800-700 + increase reserves by 3. Two-Tailed Fox: Really,free weapon in shadowkeep and no catalyst also elements, want to use it in match game. Third Tail: Shoots an additional third ARC rocket. The arc rocket chains lightning or summons arc storm at the place of explosion + increased reserves to 9 or 10. The Queenbreaker: Never hipfired, Wired barrel/sights: hold square to switch between the two firing mode, marksman sights decrease charge time after each precision hits and increases range while combat sights gain increased stability and reload speed. + masterwork magazine size or masterwork handling. Thunderlord: Bad dps, better at clearing mobs. Notsure about masterwork. Can also chain arc lightning to enemies the exotic perks lightning can’t reach. Second (lightning)strike: reloads 5-8 ammo from reserves or loads 5-8 ammo to reserves + masterworked stability or reserves. Anarchy: Usually shoot 2, enemies move contantly so never used 3 shots at same time. Still great. Honestly Trapper: the third shot arc trap also stack on damage(2 traps 2x damage, third can be 3.0x or just 2.5x damage) or auto loading holster or both + masterwork increased reserves (+ 10 in reserves, would love to spam as traps but usage is limited to 6 and keeping it for tankier targets) Truth: Lack of total damage. Example legendary 1 million, truth 0.5 million. prototype storage: increases magazine size to 5, (reserves to 10) and grants vorpal weapon perk. Deathbringer: Too inconsistent, projectiles not tracking(too high up) or despawning (too many orbs) fix it pls, i have two ideas to help with it. I Think option 1 is best but also fine with option 2. Option 1(dark flow): maxes out velocity(yes the original orb and the seeker both travel faster) and gains increased tracking radius. Option2(dark eye): original projectile gains tracking too and damage is maximized. Both option can have reload/reserves masterwork don’t really need it. Xenophage: Sluggish, machine guns lacking in damage. Flammable storage: this weapon gets vorpal weapon and auto loading holster. Salvations’s grip: It’s a meme. Cryonic nanites(nanite enhancement etc.): hold square to switch between all the different grenade types (dusk, wall, iceflare, turret) and grenade effects last longer+ reload masterwork. This was another idea: increases freeze radius even further(big circle of ice crystals instead of line/wall of ice crystals, basically more spread out, Maybe frozen enemies get tick damage) The Lament: It’s great, burstdps weapon, perk IS survivability. Also kind of chews through ammo. Banshee’s armor: grants passive guard against enemies (lore wise nanites or energy armor absorps incoming damage) + increased ammo reserves (+22 in reserves, up to 80) Eyes of Tomorrow: Has heavy nerf against bosses Molten core: rockets sets the enemy on fire, each time a rocket hits a target it increases fire damage(example 6-7 seconds of 2000 tick damage up to a limit of 10000 per tick if 8 rocket hits) Or after a while (30 second – 1 minute) adaptive ordnance activates and upon activation lasts 10-15 second + reload masterwork.
