First, thank you for your kind post - I really do appreciate it. I honestly didn’t think anyone even was reading my very long posts - I looked at it as more therapeutic for me to voice my frustration of the absurdity of the situation than anything. I completely agree with you. I was excited when they announced TWS because I was desperate for a replacement for my beloved Bygons - but once I used it I was less than impressed and quite frankly very disappointed in how it worked. The only one I thought that might have a possibility to fit in my load out is one with quickdraw and iron grip. But as time went on and I wasn’t getting it to drop it became more of “what the heck is going on” sort a thing and I wanted it even more (mostly I think because I couldn’t get it). And after everything I’ve done - the odds that it WOULDN’T drop became ridiculous to me. Most likely it’s a gun that I would use and then go in the vault because no pulse rifle so far even comes close to a Bygones or for that matter no scout comes close to what Randy’s was to me as well. Since those have been gone - I’ve been in a constant state of “well...let’s try THIS weapon combo to see how it works” and nothing’s really stuck for me like those did. Towards the end it was more about “I just want the dang thing” because I don’t have it - rather than the effectiveness of the weapon. Just like it is now with getting a DMT to drop for me with Snapshot and a good range roll - we’re 100% at the mercy of this “random drop” bs and more times than not for me the “random drop” just doesn’t work out in my favor. I don’t have any problem putting in the work for what I’m after - that’s not my point or problem in this case - it’s that I honestly feel I did more than enough to earn a “random drop” of the TWS I was after and ultimately I couldn’t get one. The problem with IB is it’s a limited time thing and now my opportunity is gone (maybe it’ll come again next season - maybe it won’t - who knows) and I lost out. Because I’m like a dog with a bone now for this TWS - if IB was still going on I can probably guarantee you I would be back at that damn thing until I finally got one! 😂 now though I can turn my attention back to DMT and other activities within Destiny!!
