[u][b]Book:[/b][/u] [i]Goodnight Punpun[/i] I f***ing HATE the ending. Makes me so mad because so many people make so many mistakes. It's not a happy ending, but it's very true to life in how things kind of work out in a f***ed up way that's "good enough" for the characters. So why is it my favorite? Because it's so well done that I felt legitimately pissed off. It's like watching Jack Gleeson as Joffrey on [i]Game of Thrones[/i]. You love him as a character because they do such a good job of making you hate him as a person. [u][b]Show:[/b][/u] Three way tie between [i]Cowboy Beebop[/i] for its closure, [i]Serenity[/i] ([i]Firefly[/i]) for its treatment of the characters (the respect they gave them when writing, not what happened to them), and [i]Clone High[/i] for somehow making a huge cliffhanger to give MTV the finger for canceling them while also having it be a legitimate ending... if that makes any sense.
