Could be you, could be bungie. The data that you posted does not indicate a good connection.

 • What's funny? Do you have any networking knowledge at all? 150 down, 12 up says Jackshit about anything. Most people have 10mbs down/ 2mbs up speed which is essentially the same as what op has for gaming purposes unless the network is crowded. Plenty of other variables in play that are not disclosed, like hardware, connection type, ping etc. Sure you can get shitty games through no fault of your own by having a host that's half way across the world from you but that does not happen every game. How can it be ops fault? Network traffic, wireless connection, distance to CO, bad/degraded wires/packet loss, router switch condition etc. But please, do enlighten me with one of your made up stats on why this can't be the case.

 • Because i have 1GB/1Gb Fiber Optics, 0 packet loss, 3ms ping to servers, Wired Cat7 cables, A++ Quality connection and i also experience these problems in Destiny 2. I've even made a topic about it on Friday: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/258730334?sort=0&page=0

 • Yes I did see your post with made up statistics and even replied to it. But did you read my answer to the op or did you read the first word and rushed to reply like half the people here? I simply stated that the amount of info the op provided is not enough to determine who is at fault which is irrefutably true. I never said that it is entirely his fault or that it can't be Bungie's fault.

 • Statistics are not even the point, it's by figure of speech ;) And probably the statistics are even true, because Destiny 2 players are really pissed ;) Just look at the first two pages on this forum ;)

I could explain to you why it isn't if you'd like.

 • I understand what you are trying to say and i believe that even your numbers are not accurate. Because every company has their own Marketing-Centres, who constantly make topics and comments on forums. After 8000+ hours in Destiny (1+2) for me the most important is the practice. Literally ALL of my friends have left Destiny, because the (pvp) gameplay is unfair. By unfair i mean: lag, delay, bad hit detection, measuring in double standards (my weapon does 3x less damage, then the enemy's same weapon, the enemy kills me with the worse shotgun/ fusion from bigger distance, then my better same weapon from closer....), etc.. And most of these problems are caused by peer-to-peer. In 2021 Bungie should be able to make gameplay equally fair for all of us.

Also, you can't go by your own experience and generalize it for the whole population; that's called anecdotal evidence and is not evidence at all. By the same standard, I haven't had your experience with the game nerfing my damage and buffing the enemies damage and I have played Destiny since it's alpha and have more pvp playtime than you. Should I post my experience as evidence? Sure, there is lag and delayed hit detection on occasion etc, that comes from p2p. You can have a hardwired 1 gbs up/down connection with a single digit ping and its not going to to matter if you live in the US and the host is in Australia. This, however, happens to everyone and is not targeted to certain people. Would it be better for the game to have dedicated servers? Of course, but Bungie does not want to spend money on them but my experience is far better than yours since sbmm was removed.
