How do you deal with Stasis Hunters?

The title says it, how do you deal with them in a Realistic and Consistent manner when they have slow on-demand and Bakris that's equal to a get out of jail card?

  • Removing Stasis from PVP is the only way to bring back the fast game play and fun to PVP. Stasis has caused more trouble than it’s worth.

  • I would like to argue the opposite. I think freezing someone on command is way better than being able to slow someone. I'll slow a titan and he'll just use his melee to either escape or push me into a wall and I die to architects. The hunter stasis super is the weakest of the bunch too. You can walk and get away from the squall. And not to mention you have no resilience casting it either. I think everybody complains about the hunters too much instead of how op the titan stasis is. I personally would like to see a complete balancing rework of all supers in the crucible.

  • They’re glass. But I’ll agree, silence and squall is annoying as heck...and I’m a hunter

  • Warlock stasis with ahamkara and 90+ strength is way worse to deal with. Double freeze all game long. Plus grenade.

    • Jump around throwing bullets at them hoping you live. Other than that? A super might save you.
nibbles crayon
Become a Stasis Hunter or Warlock with top tree dawn. As a Hunter main, Warlock's with top tree dawn yeet me the most. Followed by Titan Behemoth. Other than that nothing really damages you as much as these 2. I engage at mid range and most of my encounters are fruitful. It's only when I get within shotgun range that I lose more than win. Laid back build: True Prophecy / Last Perdition / The Colony Ape build: Witherhoard / Felwinters / Falling Guillotine Comp: True Prophecy or Bastion / Jotunn or Felwinters / 7th Seraph Saw or Xenophage I always run 10 Res and Dragon's Shadow.

    • Back up and fight them at mid-range, and make use of cover. Stasis is only an unsolvable problem if you insist on getting in people’s faces, and don’t use cover while doing it. Stasis was designed to counter that play style, by giving players a way to reach out and beat you before you can close. The problem is you have a lot of D2 players who have never been forced to give ability-based play any respect. Because you could just face-tank it in your way in.

Try to catch them off guard. Also considering how their nature is to dodge around a corner and run away the moment they got shot at, their little teleporting mask isn’t really a run away tool, it’s much more of an ambush tool when they use it to teleport behind you and shoot you with Felwinter’s in the back.

        • Well the best counter to Revenant is the same as the best counter to Shadebinder and behemoth. Stay back, play passive, and keep yourself close to cover. It’s not fun but that’s just how things are with Stasis.

        • As the other guy said, stay back and let them come to you to predict their movements. If they bakris teleport to you, you can turn around fast enough to catch them by surprise. Since their movements are so predictable, bait them.

I main lock so easy choice is a chaos reach build, while it's melee and grenades are not the best storm grenade still catch a few out when I back up and drop one on a blind corner. But by far the best part is the silence and squall counter via chaos reach 😊 Ive been using CR since the start of season of arrivals (before that I had a long much needed break from D2) Weapon wise Ive been running jade rabbit and Salvagers Salvo even got a rapid 5 kill medal at B on banner fall this iron banner with the latter

        • I am sometimes a stasis hunter, but only for shatterdive. It’s really helpful getting out of the air when needed and getting out of some situations. To deal with them, you gotta be ready for them to bakris away, or stay back and let them come to you
