It’s supposed to encourage gamers to stay at home ( during the pandemic ) by giving away free games. So last month, Sony introduced the brand new “Play at Home 2021”, and Horizon Zero Dawn is one of the listed titles. Can confirm; it’s totally free. I don’t have PS+ or anything, so you don’t need anything like that, and the description explicitly stated that you get to keep it for good.

HZD is a great game. Like, not just a great “cinematic experience” it’s a great game—even speaking from a pure gameplay perspective (though the nice story doesn’t hurt). If you really want a good Playstation exclusve, though, you should look into Gravity Rush! Gravity Rush 2 is one of the best games ever made imo!

I’m definitely hyped to replay it the soundtrack of the game is one of the best I’ve heard

I actually can’t remember much of the soundtrack at all, myself. I must not have found it too memorable. I really love weak-point based gameplay, though. I’ve only really ever seen it in HZD, and Gravity Rush, and it was really fun in both occasions!

Lost Planet 2. You can try the others if you like that one, but 2 is by far the best in the franchise. The controls take a bit of getting used to, but once you do it's got a lot of depth to it. Granted, some parts of the game don't feature weak-point toting enemies, but a majority of encounters will. The boss fights are great too. If you don't mind paying extra, the boss rush mode DLC is great for getting straight into the action too. I don't know how much it is offhand, but since it's so old it's likely REALLY cheap now. [spoiler]This is my personal opinion, but I wouldn't recommend it's sequel, Lost Planet 3. It's a prequel, and a lot of it's gameplay mechanics got the short end of the stick for the sake of a cinematic storyline that wasn't very good honestly. Neat lore about the setting, but the story itself didn't really go anywhere interesting.[/spoiler]

Yeah I loved planning out my attacks tripping them with wire then taking them out piece by piece Also would like to point out that the enemy learns your play style they will build armor on the areas you attack the most have resistance to elements and so on

I actually didn’t like the tripping. It felt kind of op. I preferred just sniping their weak spots!
