  • First, Lets not say get good. There are different levels of players plain and simple. There are people who do not have time to play or study or learn new techniques due to their real life commitments. Saying get good is dismissing them and their concerns, not to mention it belittles people, and we should try to post constructive help as a community. Not all people can or will become MLG. This also creates a content wall, which clearly positions players to have advantages in the crucible, weapons matter in this game. Bungie is keeping content away from more casual users. Call it perks if you wish, but it is a content barrier, and this will cause people to leave the game. Effectively people have purchased a product that they only get a portion of. Why does the community allow this I do not know. You do not go to a store and pay for a loaf of bread but only get a third of the loaf. Once an average player completes the limited content, they are left with raids and crucible. Some people can not vest the time with raids, find enough friends or just get bad help from the fireteam app. This pushes most of the players into the crucible, and with the added issues, it just compounds the frustration that people feel. This is also the main issue why Destiny 2 has lost so many players, and the server population has been gutted. This causes the issue with not enough people to match correctly, and the viscous cycle continues. This will then cause new players to come and leave and not stay, and veteran people to just leave. It is very obvious to see even in the normal crucible match making. Two, The Trails match making is more than broken. I agree with that. Many times you are paired with opponents that are over your skill level. There is the idea of a challenge, but Bungie has failed the community completely with Trials match making. Part of getting better is playing users that are close to your skill level, this is the best way to get better at pvp. When you are consistently beat down, this does not help people at all, it does not help them get better and it does not give them to incentive to improve. The weapons are still unbalanced, and every time Bungie tries to fix it, they usually make things worse. Also you would not have comments about Trials if the match making worked. Every weekend there is a comment like this. Three, There is a ton of cheaters in Destiny 2, you can say all that you like about it, but spend ten minutes on google and you will see. Countless hours of Twitch users with their mods up. It is no wonder the Hakke match making came about. https://www.pcgamesn.com/destiny-2/trials-disabled-hakke When the match making so is bad that players look for other ways to get the coveted flawless. This leads back to the content play wall that I referred to earlier. Bungie needs to take a serious look at how they are doing things internally. Bungie keeps loosing players of all skill levels daily as they move to other games because of how they handle things like this.
