Masterworking exotic armor
For the amount of materials we need to masterwork exotic armor the return is poop. Masterworking exotic armor should be +4 or +5 for every stat.

Alternatively, they could adopt the "adept" weapon way - a large bump to one stat, small bumps to the others. You could pick which stat gets the larger bump then the smaller bumps are distributed automatically....
