It’s meant to be sweaty and there shouldn’t be participation awards. In the nicest way possible, get better or get farmed. The gamemode does have a plethora of big issues though but I feel matchmaking isn’t one of them, at least from my perspective

Losing should get you loot. Just the regular stuff. But it should. We don't need matchmaking changes to make flawless easier. If losers get loot people who lose will play, they will play each other, and you will find them at higher win levels like 3 win more often. Just like the successful system in D1. The issue now is why would you play this mode if you aren't a 100+ flawlesses 3.0. That's all there is, matchmaking isn't even broken its just starved.

That’s a good point actually. Maybe make the loot somewhat scarce? Maybe every 3 games?

In D1 we had multiple bounties like End Game, which gave any non adept trials item. You could also get any non adept Trials item at the end of a game with any result. I'd say in this age with tokens. We just need more tokens. Probably like 1 on L 2 on W but after 3 wins 3 on L 5 on W , after 5 wins 5 on L 10 on W. That also makes it better token farm outside the 1 win range.
