I've said it before, Bungie should just add a low end, easy map editor.
This will allow players to create PVP maps for Bungie for free
Then Bungie can have the community vote on their favorite and add the winning map to the pvp rotation.
Let the community do the work for you.

That would take some serious re-tooling of the game's engine. I can imagine giving players developer tools to create custom maps isn't as easy as it sounds. Makes me wish Bungie still owned Halo.

That's why GMOD was incredibly simple and easy because the engine was like that to begin with. Same philosophy works with their other games.

i remember when COD modern warfare had cod tools and the community came up with some of the best and most beloved pvp maps of all time.. (shout out to easybeat, his maps were the best) infinity wars/activisuon did exactly what you suggest and used those ideas and concepts in there new content, some of which you still find in the newest COD releases. this would be such an awesome idea. you need dedicated modded servers to run the custom maps though

You wanna know the crazy thing? Bungie themselves have said the community can make faster content than them, so they added Forge Mode!
