Iron Banner isn't that bad, its certain mechanics that cause inconsistencies that's pretty much it. Hunt mechanic is interesting but needs changing so that it only happens if all zones are captured and none are contested. Rewards wise its fine-ish, just needs more drops and more tokies need to be granted. It's one of the few actual PvP modes that I still play regularly. Did the bounties on all my characters too. [quote]This is a zombie playlist.[/quote] Speaking of zombie, I'd love for infection to be a mode added to Crucible, need more social/action sack modes honestly.

  • It breaks the game. People still don’t pay attention so they only thing it does is make for a ridiculous snowball mechanic and mercy rate. You can’t force people to play to the objective.

    The question that makes me ask is why do those people think they can force the rest of us to not play it? Messing up a pvp mode has got to stop being the way people get what they want in this game. There are people who go into modes and purposely mess them up or play them wrong, which is fine I guess. But then why do these people expect to be listened to? Other than the fact that Bungie has a history of listening to people when they pout hard enough. Tbh, if you get a bunch of people who don't want to play the objective I'd rather the match be over quickly. With some teams its not even the fact that people don't want to play it. Maybe the playstyles just don't fit together and the game has no way of telling that beforehand. So might as well get it over with imo. Mercies are efficient. This game doesn't always do efficient very well, wouldn't you agree?

    No. The game doesn’t do fun in pvp, but does efficiency quite well in it. The game does fun well in pve, but does efficiently poorly in it...by intent and design. It’s progression system is designed to waste your time and prolong play without actually rewarding that increased play. It’s why burnout is such a problem in this community.

    Burnout is definitely going to be an issue with a game like this that's not going to go away. Its easily fixed by taking a break. I try to tell everyone that is too weak to continue that its okay to take a break. Not everyone is built for this. In PvP players are, or at least should be, more responsible for and in control of how much fun they have. Its just a totally different approach and its that approach that most people who like it play for. So when the game starts manipulating everything and you start to lose that sense that you are even in control of your character anymore, that's when it starts to be unfun for the people who actually like it. And when you come on here and see some of the reasons for why control over your character is being taken away from you, at a certain point, and after a certain number of years, its just too much. Power to the people. Give 100% (or at least what truly appears to be close to that) character control to the players. I honestly don't care what mode I play as long as I'm given that.
