Ive been with solar warlock from D1 upto D2, and i know what sunsinger felt like and efectivness especially in pve, mater afact solar warlock especially atunment of the sky has been my main and almost only class i use. ofcourse ive tried hunter and titan so i know the exact difrences and comparisons especially when compared to warlocks in general. compared to D1 esecially solar warlock just is bad and inefective with no clear vision.

That’s because Solar Warlock in D1 was stupidly OP. We had Self-res when no other class could just come back to life. Another form of the sub-class (which I used) had the ability to grant the ability to just toss a ton of grenades in our super by just simply having an exotic equipped while with the right build could cause the grenades to apply even more DoTs on things (meaning even more DPS on top of just solar grenades everywhere) AND have their defense boosted in their roaming super of grenades tossing apocalypse. Of course they reined in the Solar Sub-class in D2, it was way too powerful. Still an extremely effective super in PvP with fantastic mobility and with Sunbracers equipped, they kinda return to their grenade tossing glory although not nearly as powerful as it was in D1.
