Amen. Bungo can't seem to lift a finger sometimes to provide a little flexibility. We saw in the Haunted Forest feature that it's possible for them to do what's needed, so the code already exists. More likely than not, I'd guess their underlying goal is to slow down people who are simply trying to complete bounties. They probably think Joining Allies is a great idea. Gotta extend that grinding time any way they can. :-|
