So I recently got a shadow price I really like it its very stable and has good hit detection but it has so low damage for a slow fire rate in pvp and pve please buff them they need love like when frostbolt cant make it competitive you know it needs help
-
Agreed. They have such potential, but they’re kept bad. Since Shadow Price was introduced, I’m betting 450’s get a buff next season or the one after. They can’t let “hard earned gear” suck or else it becomes not worth it.
-
i think u havent seen uriel gift meta back in the day
-
450 autos and Pulses need a buff. Hopefully it will done next season.
-
Agree. I have a roll on the 7th seraph carbine but the TTK is absolutely awful in PvE.
-
Remember destiny 1 auto rifle was perfect it’s get ruined first nerf
-
Should have played year 1. They already had their time to shine.
-
To me, 450’s are perfectly mediocre. I think the problem with buffing them would be how potent it would make them.
-
Nah it's not a HC so it has no place in Destiny. In Destiny there's HCs and then there's fodder for HCs.
-
Yeah 450’s just lack, they need more dps. 450 pulse rifles also need help, a very small bump in damage and range and they are fine.
-
If you want to raise your KDA or plays threes , use a hand cannon . If you want to run and gun and have fun , use something wacky . It’s not that you can’t do well with a Hardlight , you can . But the deck is stacked against you and you are hoping your pair of 8s is going to hold up against a pair of Aces or Kings . But damn , it’s fun to put on a laser show for the kids on your way to a mercy defeat.

Origin Story was my no1 PvP weapon for ages. It was its ability to flinch opponents that won a lot of gunfights. I still have it but it’s a waste of time now. Not everything can be good all the time. Apart from Hand Canons. They are forever it seems.

Edited by Blue Spy 3DO: 4/17/2021 5:38:48 PMI actually came here expecting to see people complaining about year 1 Uriel’s and was surprised to not see a single complaint yet! People love to bring that up whenever 450’s are talked about, because we wouldn’t want that meta again but having multiple stints of hand cannon metas is fine. Edit: Aha there they are!

Also 450 pulses and 180 scouts.
-
Crappy ttk, unforgiving, garbage magazine, and an overabundance in energy slots. Oh yeah, 450s got it all.

Every archetype of AR could be buffed up varying intensities. And potentially get a small global recoil reduction. - 720s are pretty good, but they're not separated enough from SMGs, I'd add a few extra meters onto them. - 600s are dependable and good in a vacuum, but aren't quite worth the trade-off from a 140 HC. I'd bump them to 620 RPM (so the TTK is about 0.78 seconds instead of 0.8), and as a note, Suros wouldn't be touched beyond hip-fire with Dual Speed. - 450s suffer from 2 big things: relying on low Resilience, and being too slow to kill beyond that. I'd have the damage changed to always be that 7 headshot kill. Guarunteeing a 0.8 second TTK with an improved range to compensate. - 360s are the highest range AR type, and they fall into similar stat layouts as a 120 HC. I'd personally just make sure they've got a good range advantage over 450s, so bump the range very slightly. Since 360s are actually really good 35-ish meter suppression/poke weapons. Oh, and because Suros becomes this archetype with Dual Speed, bump the range on it to match a lower range 360.

They need a buff in pve and PvP. Feel so weak. Hard work to get it, frustrating to be better off leaving it in the vault to use something else. 😐
-
Buff 450 pulses? Sounds good. Im in.
-
They need a massive buff, since SMGS are outright just a better choice.
-
I dont agree most of the time but this post I AGREE WITH completely. Ive got some god rolled 450s that ill never use in PvP. Not even in PvE.
-
Like scouts 450s and 360s could work better on bigger maps. We really need new maps. All we have now is CQC.
-
Buff 450. Why? They came out weak? Why they rolled out weak? I don't get it.
-
They got a buff then pvp players -blam!- and cried and then they got nerfed. Who knows maybe now that bungie has finally decided to marginally seperate the pve and pvp sandbox we will see a change.
-
I would rather use a sunset weapon in a GM instead of any 450 auto like seriously literally anything else feels like a special weapon in comparison to that disappointment. In all seriousness, I cannot speak for the PVP side. I play mainly PVE.
-
They had a year to shine.
-
My Braytech Werewolf 450 autos are ok and are very accurate but they do lack damage in pvp, pve they are ok-ish. my Horror Story 450 autos don't feel as good to shoot but have better perks. I have a lot of these Halloween autos gathering dust in my vault, they could use a damage and/or range buff
-
yes, make my favorite gun better please. braytech werewolf is the coolest bad gun in the game
