Cobalt waits outside, listening into the police radio signals.

-
They don’t give him terribly much info so far.
-
Cobalt starts his own investigation. He starts roaming the streets, presenting himself as an easy target.
-
He sometimes notices slight...movements, on the rooftops.
-
Cobalt continues walking, waiting for whatever’s following him to slip up.
-
Nothing changes. And officer stops him. “Hey. Be careful out here.”
-
Cobalt nods. He should be fine.
-
“Alright....”
-
Cobalt continues walking, keeping his hands close to his guns.
-
Pretty soon he hears a noise in a nearby alley.
-
Cobalt turns into the alley, weapons drawn.
-
There’s no more noise now.....
-
Cobalt takes a look around, weapons up.
-
After a few moments, a girl pounces onto them, about to attack Cobalt with a bo staff! “Hello, my dearest paint.”
-
Cobalt grabs her, using his augmented arms to tear her off him.
-
She clings on, but loses control of her staff. “Hey! Stick to the script, you trashy extra!”
-
Cobalt grabs her again, trying to hold her.
-
She stays on. “There. Now....do you like knives in your gut or your neck?” A shadow brings up a wickedly sharp dagger.
-
Cobalt reaches for the knife with his other hand, attempting to disarm her.
-
He causes the knife to fall, and they curse. “Dangit! You actors are horrible!”
-
“Tell me why you’re killing people. Now.” Cobalt flicks open an arm, releasing a mantis blade.
-
“Why, to meet my clan’s murderer.” She hops off Cobalt.
-
Cobalt doesn’t charge, though he does ready blade and Lex.
-
They show their whole face, revealing a female vampire. “No monologue? No questions?”
-
Cobalt stays silent, and motionless. He waits for her to make a move.
-
They wait as well. “...so? Will you start the dance?”
