To all you Trials sweats out there.....
Today I was going to get my pinnacle gear from IB. It was me and my brother in a fireteam together. We load into a IB match with a 4 stack of trials sweats on there side and a 4 stack on our side. The fireteam on our side left right away making my brother and I the only 2 people on my team. I told him to start dancing, so we did. Next thing you know, the enemy team was killing us over and over again. Really, did they think they were the best players in the world because they killed people who didn’t fight back
Edit: I’m not trying to say that they should’ve danced with us and let us win. I’m just sick and tired of the matchmaking in crucible. It annoys me when most of your team leaves (or is crap) and the other team is full of crucible tryhards that completely destroy your team.

They probably had bounties they needed to complete and by doing what you did. You did them a favour and saved them time in the long run.

If I’m playing Big Team Slayer and six people leave the enemy team, I don’t want to sit out the fifteen minutes because the two guys left don’t want to quit. So no, I’m not gonna teabag with the other team, I’m gonna try to hit the 100 kill limit quickly and hope that they leave beforehand.

Instead you wasted thier time by staying and expect them to emote with you rather then farm you till the game ends or you finally get the hint and leave? LOL! I remember messaging players on halo when they were the last enemy standing a minute into the game if they can leave and they refused - so they died 45 times till the game ended. Why waste both sides time and get ran over?

I would do the same to you. Iron banner has bounties for specific kill types and if I was in a lobby against 2 people I would be annoyed and would want to try to make them leave so that I can get into my next game where I hopefully have people to kill for my bounties. This is the fault of bad game design, not the people you were against

Good rule of thumb: if you emote and they keep killing you? Stop and switch to the most toxic load out you can think of. Be as irritating as possible.

Welcome to destiny. If losing was made to not be so bad the game would be better and everyone would be on the same level. Yes I read the entire post. But my statement stands. It’s frustrating when bungie didn’t think of this when they decided to focus to much attention on pvp trying to compete with cod,battlefield and all the other games that are pvp based games with not pve in them. But this will always be part of the game. It would have been easier to take the L and leave an try to que into a different match. But everyone has the same gear like in vanilla destiny 2 this really would be much of an issue to a point. But since they all didn’t have the same gear or maybe they did I don’t know and your four that left didn’t have the gear the trials people had then the only thing that was seen was outmatched and left.

We mercies them 60 - 10. Without capturing Zones. Being the leader of my clan, of course I had to message them. "C'mon boys, stop sweating" 🥵 Didn't even get a response.

2 RepliesWhat did you expect them to do? Waste 10 minutes by not fighting back? It's too bad that your team left, but it is better to get the game over with a Mercy than to just waste everyone's time. Also, why do you assume these players are Trials sweats? I found the game you are referencing. While one person has 70 flawlesses, one person only has 2 flawlesses and the other 2 have none. One of the 4 on their team has a 0.55 K/D. I'm a less than average player in PVP but will sometimes play with friends that are pretty good in PVP, that doesn't make us sweats, it makes us friends that want to go play the game together, kind of like how you wanted to play the game with your brother. Don't blame them for wanting to do the same thing, but also being better than you at PVP on average. If you don't like getting defeated by players that are better than you, try playing PVE content.

This isn’t all Trials sweats. As one myself, I never leave games. Nor do I kill people if their emoting. Unless it’s high risk high reward. Aka close to winning and/or in Trials itself.

Not IB, but I played a match of Control last week against a 6 stack of sweats who didn't capture a single zone, while the team I was on had all 3 zones. Long story short, we got slaughtered.

if your team left right away you should have too. the enemy team didn't think they were gods for killing you they just wanted to hurry up and finish the match. this doesn't deserve a forum post.

So you would have prefered having them dancing with you during 10mins waiting for the end of the match ? Remember those players are farming tokens, so they wont waste time dancing 10min waiting for the game to end. For real you just should have left

No one wants to be in a 6v2 for 20 minutes. It's surprisingly rare you fond [b]actual[/b] sweats in IB that go beyond just being good.

Wow man, must suck that someone downed you in a PvP mode even though you were dancing in the back. Were they just supposed to wait the whole length? That’s boring af. So no, I’m glad you got rolled for just sitting there. You shouldn’t get a handout for doing nothing, just like the people that jump off the map in Trials.
