That's a tough question and something where we would probably act case by case. Please note here that I am answering as a Ninja, but also with my individual view about the question. This answer may not fully represent the stance of the moderation team as a whole. The stance of the moderation team, in short (which also serves as a TLDR), would be: *Gently* Please don't. Generally, personally I would advise to follow the mindset of "When in doubt, don't post it". If you try to skim the line, you may still get hit, especially when we notice that you're trying to use it as a loophole. I can see that if it is a completely fictional religion or politic in a game or book or something, and you make your discussion about it solely referencing that game or other media, and you don't try make any real-world parallels, that we can permit the discussion. A religion which is actually perceived as a religion in our world, even if it is a satire religion, is still a religion and discussion about it is not allowed, as has been explained in a great way by User Swift, Cultmeister and Ghost Bucket. Examples would be Daedra Worshipping in The Elder Scrolls or the infamous question of "Does Skyrim belong to the Nords?". But, asking even these questions in a forum often leads to inevitable discussion about something in real life because someone feels the need to start talking about it (or purposely wants to disrupt the topic), which would then break our Code of Conduct and lead to a lock or removal of comments with a warning or ban. Which is why we introduced that rule in the first place, to prevent the inevitable fights about mundane views. In our 15+ year experience of moderation of bungie.net, most of these discussions unfortunately get out of hand and lead to code-breaking comments. So if you want to keep a clean record, it's best not to discuss any of that here in the forums, but elsewhere, simply because you can't control what other people post, as much as you may make it clear that you're only talking about a video game deity and it's related worship and only want to talk about that. And honestly, most of the time you don't really need to discuss it here, in my opinion. Though I get just wanting to talk about it with friends, so it may be better to just talk through it on a more private space. Private Messages, Group Chat, or (as mentioned) elsewhere, like Discord.
