NAT type errors (PC)

I played Destiny 2 for the longest time without any "NAT type" errors. starting from last week we've been having these errors. I've always played with my brother, on the same internet connection, on two different PCs. We've never played D2 on a platform other than Steam. I checked reddit and threads on these forums here, such as these threads [url]https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/360049496751 [/url] [url]https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/360049024092[/url] but I haven't been able to troubleshoot the issue at all. This has been going on for several days. It is so random - sometimes we can't play together for an entire day. Sometimes we both have to join a 3rd mutual friend of ours separately so we can play together. And other times we get this NAT type error with everybody. Sometimes I'm unable to matchmake with anybody else so I end up having to do activities like Battlegrounds solo. According to what I've read, some of which is highlighted in the screen shots above, 1) "When possible, Bungie recommends players use the UPnP setting." 2) "UPnP is REQUIRED if players plan to use more than one console to play Destiny on the same network simultaneously." 3) "Players should only use Port Forwarding when they cannot use UPnP and are having issues playing Destiny." 4) It is not recommended to enable both UPnP and Port Forwarding at the same time. In other words, if I enable UPnP, I should not Port Forward. I was about to purchase a $40 program to do portforwarding for me, but I thankfully managed to notice that UPnP HAS ALWAYS BEEN ENABLED for me and my brother. Basically, despite not changing a single network setting, we have suddenly started getting NAT type errors, NAT type "moderate", and it's pretty iffy - sometimes it works like a charm and other times we are totally unable to play together. We've restarted our PCs, the router, updated our drivers, made sure Windows is on the latest update, but despite all this, the issue persists. I don't know what else to do.
