I agree. Improving your skills at a game is like trying to learn how to swim. A teacher throwing you in at the deep end isn't going to make you improve because you'll just drown straight away. Skill is gradually built up. You start at the shallow end and work your way up after you are confident that you can cope in that area. The Crucible throws this out of the window and decides to put sweats against noobs for them to get easy kills.

  • This is exactly what you are supposed to be doing. You start at the shallow end of your team and work your way up.

  • I agree 100% to this, to get better at the PVP experience you need to have time to invest into playing constantly. Most people don't have the time, most would just like to enjoy playing against other people at the "Same skill level". Perhaps Bungies SBMM was not good, but i had a far better experience in IB when SBMM was in then CBMM. Before i used to only play PVP when IB was on due to the balanced games. Most of the games were really tight and close. But then all the top players had to wait a bit more for my top players to join and that pee'd them off so CBMM it is. It's a shame because PVP is just awfull ATM.
