My money is on the likelihood that they don't know how to fix it, and so it probably never will be. The best thing they could do is just let us use Vulkan to run the game, which they have code for, that's what the Google Stadia version uses, that all of it's 2000 (generous assumption) users play. Even then the issue might run deeper, I have no issues with other DX11 titles.
