With SBMM the "tryhards" had to sweat, now the majority of PvP dudes has to do so. Idk when I could have fun in QP, people running 120s and FW, but yeah they dont want to farm bad players to get better stats. If you are against SBMM, you dont want competition thats easy.

Shame Bungie can't make two separate PvPs, one with CBMM and one with SBMM. The highest total population out of the both decide which one stays.

Edited by X-LoganX: 3/30/2021 3:17:03 AMAnd those Playlists are 3v3 and designed to be more competitive and sweaty. Most average players don't go near those Playlists. Why is this so hard for people to understand?
-
maybe they are more competitive but they are fking boring for me.
-
Personal preference then. You enjoy the fast pace of 6v6 but yet it should be just as accessible and fun for the average crowd.
And those Playlists are 3v3 and designed to be more competitive. Most average players don't go near those Playlists. Why is this so hard for people to understand?
SBMM is meant for competitive play. CBMM is casual. Not hard to understand.

What people like you fail to understand is, the average player (the largest demo) does not consider sbmm sweaty. It's simply more fun. Cbmm is not casual for the average mid-teir player, it's just easy mode for high level players. The game needs to cater more to the larger population and lot so much to the sweats.

The people who don’t like CBMM are the bottom of the barrel. CBMM is casual and is the preferred style by most players.

Another fallacy. Why, because all it takes is 1 or 2 high level players to take all the kills and stomp all the average players. The cbmm experience is crap for everyone but high level players. Numbers don't tell the whole story in this one. You have to look at the matches themselves to see it.

Again, CBMM is casual, SBMM is competitive. More people like CBMM, so it stays. Get over it.

You are incorrect. Typically every game in Control or IB has 2 players on each team with a ton of kills, then 2 players with some then 2 players with very few. The team that gets 3 players with very few kills usually loses. In any given Control or Iron Banner game there are 3 to 4 people out of 12 that have a fun experience. That's why the Crucbile numbers suck.

While numbers don’t directly relate to the style of matchmaking, the player pop post switch to CBMM is higher, so not sure why you’d use that in your argument, lol. Everything else you said you have no proof for. Both my recent matches and your most recent matches show a mostly even distribution of kills. The distribution of teams is part of lobby balancing and not SBMM.

Lol."more people like cbmm". 🤣🤣 That's why pvp numbers are some of the lowest in Destiny history. Even with IB here. Thanks for showing your ignorance. I've nothing more to say. Lol

Lol
The lowest pvp numbers in Destiny 2 were in season of dawn and worthy. Might have been lower in year 1, but I don’t have the numbers. Season of arrivals saw a huge increase after the switch to CBMM. Iron banner also hit its highest numbers since warmind. There’s also been multiple forum and reddit polls where CBMM consistently wins by a large margin. The crucible numbers right now are quite high for this late into the season. Not sure where you got the “some of the lowest in Destiny history” cause it’s blatantly false.

Lol. IB used to draw over 800k Now it's barely getting 600k. Yesterday didn't even reach 400k Lol. You're not in touch with any reality. Get your info straight before commenting please. Gnight and good luck with your position on this. You won't hear anything further from me.

It was massive news when iron banner hit those numbers after the switch to CBMM. Literal article were written. Look at these great numbers from SBMM. It took beyond light being delayed for numbers to reach near these levels, lol. https://imgur.com/a/UXZzvvY Trying to use player numbers to determine which one is preferred isn’t going to go your way.

Lol I'll find the article tomorrow. The notion that the first IB after cbmm was brought in was the highest in history was debunked a while ago. Lol. Get with the times. PVP numbers are abysmal and will keep dropping unless they find a way to bring the average Ayer back to the game.

Compared to what? They’re higher than the majority of year 3 and nearly all of year 2. You have to be trolling.

So you think thank barely hovering at 300k, across all platforms non-IB, is good? Sometimes is barely over 200k Wow. Just wow. Gnite dude

Gnite dude
Here’s from during SBMM. How is this better? The numbers haven’t dropped this low since the drought in season of arrivals. https://imgur.com/a/UXZzvvY Trying to use population numbers in your argument is only hurting your case. Kinda sad... Edit: decided to look at your stats. 😳 I’ve changed my mind, you need SBMM.

One day from a year ago vs the last 2 seasons. Nice try. Ok that's really it. Gnite
One day from a year ago vs the last 2 seasons. Nice try. Ok that's really it. Gnite
It hasn’t dropped that low in the pst two seasons. It was that low through our all of season of dawn and most of worthy. By all means, show numbers that are lower. Yesterday’s numbers were quite high. Again, population numbers aren’t going to help your case. They don’t help either case. The people who play pvp don’t change based on the matchmaking, there’s a lot of other reasons. If you’re going to form your argument around SBMM bring more players into pvp, at least check to see if it did.

Bro you killed him...he'll never recover from how hard you just shat on him.
