I'm running goldy and I have touched my Warlock like twice this season. Both times I used Stormtrance. Neither are close to Stasis. But sure. You do you.

Uh huh. And exactly how are my builds spammy? Frostees sure help, but the golden gun abilities can't be spammed. The dodge doesn't do much to enemy players. The grenades all require placement. The melee requires precision. Sure, I have the abilities cooled down, but the class itself punishes spamming them. By nature, goldy can't be spammy at all. Stormtrance can, but I wouldn't call 36 discipline spammy. You saw the Frostees and Crown and literally grasped at straws.

Anything can be spammed. You are wearing exotics to cut your cool downs So you can spam your abilities. Nothing wrong with that, and thank god it isn’t stasis. But it’s conceptually not very different

It is very different. Goldy punishes for spam. Stasis does not. On the most fundamental level it is different.

I don’t know what Goldie tree you are playing, But there isn’t a nade in the game that punishes you for spamming The dodge is still spammable And the melee on any Goldie class is very potent and can be used to avoid actual gunfights. So? lol

So a knife that requires precision hits to kill a spammable? Maybe if you have an aim bot. If you miss because you're spamming, you die. The same can't be said for any stasis melee. And grenades that require good placement to do anything can be spammed? None of the goldy nades track. None of them. And yeah. If you throw a grenade and miss, you just spent time performing an action and didn't get any damage for it. You can't just mindlessly throw them. The same can't be said for any stasis nade. The dodge on goldy does nothing except break aim assist. Since I gave frostees on, I don't get health or anything like that. The normal dodge is far from potent. If you call any of that spammy, you have a misunderstanding of the class on the most basic of levels. That's all there is to it.

Spam has always meant to use over and over [i]indiscriminately[/i]. No systematic method. No thought. That is literally what it means. Seems you forgot to about the word in the italics.
