My thoughts on it are that’s bakris is a EXTREMELY strong exotic, an exotic that’s ability is that strong is usually tied to a subclass. Like you said some examples of this are celestial nighthawk, falling star for titans, geomags for warlock or Astrocyte verse (even tho blink sucks this is the most comparable exotic). Making bakris a widespread exotic would definitely cause balancing issues and in my mind lots of problems for the pvp community.

Edited by Funki_: 3/24/2021 5:02:50 PMI agree in some ways. To be clear I just want the movement ability on all subclasses, not the buff to arc damage. I think they do have to be careful, yet the ability doesn't relate to stasis at all. I don't think bakris on any other subclass will make it more powerful than it already is. Stasis is so broken (although the recent nerf helped), but I love bakris. It is very fun for me. If I could use the light shift ability on spectral blades, I would switch. I would think Bungie wants stasis to be less oppressive, and less people using it would help with that. I am curious though, what subclass do you think bakris might be more powerful on than stasis?

I think bakris would be insane on night stalker classes lol. With a already crazy good neutral game having access to bakris could lead to some crazy smoke/invis setups. I’d honestly be fine with bakris on other classes as long as it was balance for crucible. I’m a warlock main who really wants blink to be just as good as bakris so I can definitely see the appeal of how addicting the movement is.
