The D2 Companion App used to work fine on my Galaxy S10 & S6 but since today all of the items in the App are classified.
I've tried the following to fix it (no particular order):
- Switched wireless network and tried 4G
- Restart App
- Clear App data & cache
- Restart Phone
- [b]Reinstall App[/b]
- Applied storage rights
- Logout account
- Updated database in the App settings
I've looked around and for most people this problem would be solved with a reinstall yet for me it is not the case. I have also noticed that in the database settings the "World Database" has the status; "Update required" and will not update under any circumstance.
I've provided a link to a YouTube video showcasing the problem. If the embedded version is not working copy pasting the link will load the video on YouTube.

Problem seems to have been fixed by itself/Bungie. I'm assuming it was an issue with the database/server.

Got the exact same issue. Huewei P9 Lite. I hope this gets fixed soon. The app really made life easier

Edited by TheGreatSchoomps: 3/17/2021 4:33:30 PMAlso can't use it after the update on my S8 and S20+ 5G. All I see is "Failed to download required Destiny 2 content. Please Try again". Retrying is futile. In the App Settings > Data Settings, it's clear that the World Database is the issue, but it won't update no matter how many times you press Update Databases. Assets and Clan Banner Database is fine and updates accordingly.

Me too, was using it just a moment ago and when I woke up my phone after it went in sleep mode everything was gone. Als tried all of the steps you took but nothing changed. (Samsung Galaxy S7)

Same issue for me, I too have taken the same steps but still not working. It did work briefly last night just after reset.

Same here. Also, it when I click on a tab, director for instance. It keeps needing to download something.
