Hello, Yes I did it on the character that I was trying to get the exotic on. After several more attempts I finally got it. I was just under the impression that any exotic not owned was a guarantee like exotic engrams. Last season I had no problems at all do some legend runs and when an exotic would drop it was the exotic I was missing. just wasn't sure it they intentionally change it or if this was a minor bug. thank you for the response, and correcting me on it not being guaranteed.

I actually recently noticed this as well. Yesterday, I watched a friend run the moon legend lost sector on his titan (for that sweet Falling Star, of course). However, he was getting exotics like Armamentarium and Crest before it finally dropped. So, I eventually told him to swap back to his old Xbox 1 because that’s where he had originally purchased the associated DLC’s and season. He got the chest a few runs after this. I’ve always received the season’s new exotic as my first exotic drop of these lost sectors, so idk If this is a bug or crazy rng. Thought I’d bring it up, sorry for the paragraph
