I don’t really believe they should make trace rifles, they are inherently too unique, especially being the only weapon type that has perfect accuracy. Also 10 impact for trace rifles would be ridiculously overpowered.

Ruinous effigy is an 8 impact with a 1,000RPM so I can’t imagine this being broken. I imagine it being a strong contender to shotguns, grenade launchers, & snipers. It’s a special so it Should Be Strong. The idea of keeping traces as only exotics is wasted potential.

Also in pvp the 8 impact doesn’t actually increase effigy’s damage; it’s still equivalent to 6 impact.

Tracerifles arent actually 1000, they tick 15 times a seconds.
