Personality: Quite criminal, rebellious. Likes to make sly remarks and talk down on someone (mainly [b]Kavita[/b]), but is quite smart. Height: 5'11 Weight: 190 Ibs Appearance: Asian/Caucasian mix. Quite spiky medium black hair, sometimes wears sunglasses. Wears a dark blue trenchcoat, under is a black leather jacket. Wears gray pants, and blue and black boots. Abilities: Genetic enhancements that allow him to jump higher and take more damage from superpowers. Carries a unique switchblade, some gadgets and may possibly have a gun. Extras: [b]Vandren[/b] has had a few run-ins with [b]Saitranovia[/b]'s law. Backstory: Comes from an abusive household. His father would constantly talk down on him, with his mother assissting him, even physically abuse Van herself. In his later years, he develops a more logical pesonality and becomes street-smart, but still has his father's arrogance. He was a hell of a rebel in his high school, he was confronted by the leader for typical rebellious acts, in which it also took 2 security officers to remove him. Into his adult life, around his early 20s, he was introduced to [b]Asako[/b] by his high school friend [b]Spayde[/b], where he was also introduced to her friends: [b]Taris, Reádel,[/b] and [b]Hyoru[/b]. Most importantly, he met [b]Kavita[/b], along with [b]Cathera[/b]. He would later be in a relationship with Kav by the time she turned 19. Van realizes the friends that [b]Spayde[/b] introduced him to were some backstabbers. In 2013, he was accused of assaulting [b]Asako[/b], though he claims he didn't, and it was reversed, and was arrested, and later tried in the Command Courts. This is what cut his and Kav's relationship. Later, in late 2015, he was accused of murder and was put in prison for a few months, only to get out, and "reunite" with some of the SoS cast. Met the twins when they regrouped at the bar. Van's role wasn't very big. He was a supporting character, but I guess he's a "fan favorite" according to some comments I got. In Arc 1, he was introduced when Kav, Anna, and [b]Tenerus[/b] were defeating some crooks, and he appeared on the other side of the street. He got to meet the twins at the GB&P, though the bar has already heard of him and his troublesome nature. He started a feud with [b]Pyrus[/b] when he stepped up for [b]Kavita[/b], who Van was taunting. A small, physical altercation occured and Van exited the bar after he was apprehended. In Arc 2, he redeemed himself by finding information on the [b]Spektral Nyterunners[/b], while also trying to reconcile with Kav, even if it involves some bickering. In Arc 3, him and Kav sparred over her being tired of him and whatever shenanigans he brings to the squad. He technically won but Cat walked in, making Kav play a victim, which ended up with him being thrown into a pool by Cat's telekinesis. Later within Arc 3, he travels back to 2013 with Aino to witness the moment that [b]Asako[/b] got him arrested. They went back a bit, and found out that she used a switchblade to make a wound on her arm, and threw it so that it'd be easier to frame him. During the Infernal, he finally encountered [b]Asako[/b] again, trapped under a collapsed building. He pulls her out, but at the last minute, stabs her in an act of revenge, and let's the Scorpion King finish her off. He survived the Infernal, along with several other allies.
