Consider this solved in the dumbest way:
My router was set up to assign IPs via DHCP that I had set up. I had set it up to assign IPs from 192.168.50.1 - 255.
I logged into the router settings and out of frustration changed the DHCP range to 192.168.69.1 - 255. The moment I was assigned a new IP, I attempted to log into Destiny and it immediately logged in.
I feel like an idiot, as I should have tried that sooner. Let this hopefully help someone in the future.
---------------
Stepped away for a season, just bought the expansion and the season pass and now I cannot sign in.
"The Destiny servers are not available."
I've reinstalled the game now, twice. Ports are forwarded in my router. Firewall is turned off. I even reset my Windows network adapters to see if that was an issue. Even after a fresh install I am getting the same error (and just in case, I ran an integrity check on Steam to see if there was a missing file and there's not)
I'd like to jump back in and play, but it seems the game really doesn't want me to.

Edited by Ten: 3/2/2021 6:08:56 PMI was hoping that after today's maintenance and patch that this would be fixed, but it's not. I've done the suggestions, and I still cannot connect to the game. I've gone so far as to DMZ my own computer so that it has a direct shot straight to the internet without any firewalls or anything to interfere, and it's still doing that. So I have to believe the issue is not on my end.
