They shouldn't be common. However it is normal when matchmaking consists of taking 12 names, jumbling them about in a bag and throwing the first six to fall out into 1 team and the rest into another. Sadly, until there is a reasonable matchmaking system Crucible is going to stay like this.

And unfortunately SBMM isn't the be all end all fix people seem to think it is. They think it is because for them it'll work out fine and some of these people just don't give a rats ass about anyone else because they think everyone else is the same. Lobby balancing is the biggest issue. Sorry, I should have said, lack of lobby balancing.

Then there aren't continual mercies.
