Primevals are pve enemies, it’s not a pvp component of gambit.
They already addressed the melting by reworking the debuffs to not fully stack. High burst dps is a part of the game.
It just takes coordination or luck that a team of randos knows what to do.
What else can they do? Nerf abilities?
For gambit? No way.

Gambit is the middle child between PvE and PvP. Ultimately nerfing something extensively because of Gambit would cause it to become useless or pointless in two aspects of the game. This is what happened to all Linears when they got an aim assist nerf back to vanilla values, because Sleeper was the strongest ranged heavy for invading. They fell off the face of the Earth. Gambit either needs its own set of damage values that can be tuned just for Gambit, or it just needs to stay unbalanced because the overall community impression towards Gambit is negative, regardless.

Gambit the mode yes. I wasn’t referring to the mode in general, I was clearly specific. Gambit shouldn’t have it own values. Because we deal with pve enemies, things need to work the same. I’m not really understanding the complaint. The whole point of the mode is to summon and kill the primeval. When has there ever been some rule that says you can’t do it fast? Or that the other team is supposed to have a guaranteed chance at turning it around? Getting outplayed isn’t a reason to complain. It’s a reason to get better or get a team if you can’t carry randos.
