Bro they really did it to Rex honestly it’s kind of sad how they put the anime girls in smash but not the literal main character

Eh, we already have Shulk. I would’ve preferred we get a new rep altogether, but if we had to get a new Xenoblade Chronicles rep, I’m glad we didn’t just get another protagonist. That being said, I really don’t like Pyra’s design. Could they not have chosen anyone else?

Kinda feels like they are dipping into the horny crowd with it which is fair enough It would have been cool if they made a xenoblade X guy because of the mech suits are cool af. I don’t disagree that there should have been a different rep, mostly because I am very mixed on XB2. I liked Zeke a lot more than the other protags. A lot of the reps I would have wanted became mii costumes tho. rip Travis touchdown

Rex [i]is[/i] there, though. He helps with the Final Smash, so it’s not like he abandoned them altogether. Plus it’s Smash—lore is probably the least of their concerns when choosing a character. If we got another Xenoblade rep as a base character, I would’ve been like “Sure”, but I think the DLCs should be trying to go for new franchises. This was a precedent they set for the original DLC pack, up until Byleth. But getting Sephiroth & Byleth was really boring, because we already had reps for Fire Emblem & Final Fantasy. There are a [i]ton[/i] of games out there, so there are still plenty of fun new characters they could choose.

I like when we get characters that aren’t just our main hero, so no matter what Xenoblade rep we would have gotten, I’m just glad it wasn’t the protag.. I guess. I still wish we didn’t get a Xenoblade rep at all, though, because we already have one.

Yeah, but we still already have a Xenoblade rep. Along with Byleth & Sephiroth, that does just lend Pyra/Mythra a bit of disappointment. See, this is the [i]real[/i] reason they gave us Steve, though, because no matter who they give us that disappointment is lifted slightly by the fact that at least it’s not as bad as Steve. :p
