The only way this would happen is if every trade used silver(100 something small). This would incentivize Bungie and also make it so they can collect on weapon farming services that will surely be in lockstep with such an update. Part of gaming to create a successful game is to reach multiple player arch types. you have the collector, spike, timmy, socialite, economist. Destiny 2 is lacking in the socialite and non-existent economist angle. But remember what most important is to give Bungie incentives. One would think making a better game is enough of a reason, but you have to keep in mind this is the company that hired a human behavior specalists to consult on how to make destiny 2 more addictive. So dont expect industry normals. AKA wont happen.
