So i found that a lot of the issue seemed to be the monitors freesync.. I turned off no stutters no flickers but screen taring, so i used a program call CRU to lower the freesync settings from 48 to 38 and bam way better getting 200plus in game at high settings. I can play the game again just wish we didnt have to tweek settings to make it work

Did it with my 5700xt, same low fps.

https://www.displayninja.com/how-to-change-freesync-range-using-cru/ This is how to use cru, i switched my freesync to 48 to 38, lost all flicker and able to get good FPS and no stutters

Do you use HDMI or DisplayPort? After modifying the VRR range, do you re-enable Freesync?
-
i use DP, also i have 4 monitors and the one i game on is a MSI MAG27CQ (which seem to have some issues with flicker and freesync) like all of you i was trying anything to make this better and it was random that i decided to turn off FreeSync on the monitor and saw that i had no more stutters, So i read up more on others having flicker and freesync and that is how i found the CRU and made the change above and got Freesync running again on the monitor

Tried the same but doesn’t appear to change anything. So what kind of FPS do you get on Tangle Shore now?
-
tangle shore is still kind of jacked but 60-100
-
Tried to replicate the steps but it didn’t work for me. Can you clarify a bit more what you did? I assume after modifying the VRR range you re-enabled freesync? Any more information may be very helpful for me and all the other people here stuck with new AMD hardware and this issue.

Ya i turned FreeSync back on my monitor
-
Hi Interesting! Did you explain to us what you do please on wish kind of materials
-
Well i see Amd cpu 5900 and gpu 6800
-
I'm going to need you to explain exactly what you did step by step if you don't mind

So i watched a video on YT about how to improve stutters, trying to find the link but not sure. Re did all my AMD settings and then tried the game out, see if things better or worse. just kept messing with settings and then also used CRU to drop the freesysnc re-fresh rate for the MSI monitor to 38. This helped with flickering that i got have messing with settings.
