The only way adjusting the things you mention would be acceptable to a pve only player like myself would be if Bungie separated the sandboxes. I’ve been told it’s perfectly doable. As it is, for whatever reason, Bungie refuses to do this across the board. As a pve player, I do not want the abilities I use to be watered down to next to nothing because Crucible players die to them a lot. As I don’t play crucible, I will not comment on the current state of it but I will say that if a nerf for abilities in pvp affects those in pve, it would be a disaster for many of us who are already teetering on the edge of abandoning the game entirely.

  • They have shown before they can split the sandbox. Like they could make things be a SLOW in pvp and be a FREEZE in pve. I really really dont want to see pve messed with i just sincerely hope that the way stasis interacts with GUARDIANS changes

    With respect to crucible, I think the problem in crucible is, players don't expect to be as weak as an average thrall against another guardian, and that's how the stasis abilities treat the other player in crucible. I think Bungie probably has the opposite assumption about players in crucible using stasis against other guardians, that they should be the same as your average thrall, which makes no sense. As wielders of the light and the dark, guardians should probably be able to be more resistant to slowing and especially freezing. While resilience can reduce your required damage to break free, there's little to you can do about being pulled or slowed. So, I think Bungie has a core disconnect with players there. Guardians aren't supposed to be weak by nature.
