I don't think it'll filter them out. They already pay for the cheats so why would the dlc price stop them? What bungie needs to do is actually get an anti-cheat and start doing hardware bans.

I agree but they havent done so in a lot of time and it doesnt seem to be happening any time soon. Im sure it will filter out some cheaters. Its just another obstacle in the way for cheaters.

Yeah. Maybe tie it to campaign completion as well? You must have the new dlc, beat the campaign, must have the current season pass (and be at least rank 12?) and must have completed the seasons intro mission. Pile on obstacles.
