Nerfed because of Gambit yet Truth, Xenophage, Eyes of Tomorrow etc runs rampant leads you to believe that Gambit is an afterthought now.

They dropped Malfeasance into the game then basically forgot about Gambit except for the "fiiiine, we'll give a chase weapon to Gambit too" thing.

You are so correct though. Truth is so skill less and easy to use. The lack of even the need to really head shot or actually aim past getting a lock on makes it easy mode. Even the thousand voices SHREDS stuff <

I honestly think that after they nerfed Linears because Gambit, they just stopped caring—realizing that the fact that you can use a heavy(virtually any of them honestly) is OP in Gambit.

Then they didn't re-buff them to make them usable in the rest of the game since nobody gives a hoot about gambit and forgot about them while they moved on to other things to nerf.

Honestly think they just forget Linear Fusions exist. Sad really because I think they have a lot of potential as a heavy weapon if they gave them good perks, a slight damage buff, and just generally added more of them to the game.

Honestly my hope is still that they rework sleeper and just bring back my baby from D1. Don't make me have to work hard to make it hit like the truck it was and should be. Just let me shoot the corner of a wall and vaporise myself while my target laughs again... But in all seriousness I don't think i ever used a linear fusions in all of D2 for more than like 20 minutes except for Sleeper cause I wanted it to work so bad. But I haven't touched sleeper for years now and I have the catalyst sitting there waiting for those 500 final sleeper kills. I just need a reason.
