UPDATES January 29, 2021We have looked over the data post 3.0.2 launch:-- High-end users saw big improvements: we're about halfway back to pre-Beyond Light perf.
What do you Idiots consider High end? 3090 only? as many others have already pointed out AMD 6000 series still runs like dogshit, no improvements. 6800 and 6800XT > RTX 3070 6800XT = RTX 3080 in most cases depending on the title. You Shit for brains monkeys need to stop making up lies.

  • 1080p, I have a 9900k z390 ultra aorus 32GB RAM dual channel @ 3600MHz Tried all the low latency adjustments, clean install game deleted directx files and all other things but no luck.

  • Nothing wrong with that setup, besides being intel (Joking of course 9900K is a good chip) at 1080p you should be hitting the 200fps cap all day with around 45% total gpu load. damn the situation is worse on Amd still, but even so that's concerning. Im assuming your not running supersampled at 200% res?, but even then thats only 4K. 3090 was built for 8K @ 30-60 from what i understand.

I was a bit disappointed when I changed from 2080 Super to 3090. Killed the whole joy of getting 3090 when I saw such low frames. And I am only running 100% rendered resolution. If you have any suggestions in tweaking the setup do let me know I have seen somone getting 200+ fps on 3090 but he had like 10900K with 16GB 4400Mhz. But even with 10900k config i think I should get similar performance as 9900k is not that far behind 10900k interms of gaming.

  • no suggestions unfortunately. the gear you have is excellent, and should be completely overkill for destiny @ 1080p. Im currently investigating overriding some of the games "checks" so i can force Vulkan or DX12 based rendering in hopes that a closer to metal api draw call might fix some of the games shenanigan's. but no luck yet. Sad part is the game does support Vulkan at least, as that's what the stadia version uses but Bungie refuses to allow us to activate it. the stadia version likely is coded for unix based OS, but the work has still been done regardless.

  • I just hope they fix things soon, the funny thing is I set the graphic settings to high and dont see much improvement in the surrounding environment, besides a few framedrop.
