Cobalt enters the bar, and grabs a seat at a booth, next to Keria.
“So what’s up with you?”
English
-
"Sure!" I smile.
-
“So, you have any lunch plans?”
-
"Not off the top of my head." I shrug.
-
“I could make something... How does artisan grilled cheese sound?”
-
I laugh, and blush, "Wow, you'd pick the moon out of the sky for me wouldn't you?"
-
“That’s pretty much impossible, but yeah, that’d be a fun challenge.” Cobalt actually seems to consider this idea.
-
I sit slightly stunned for a moment, astonished at his single-minded will.
-
Cobalt shakes his head, and laughs. “That wouldn’t work, no. It’d probably mess up too many things down here.”
-
"Y-yes it would." I chuckle.
-
“We could go buy a star, I know they do that.”
-
I chuckle semi-uneasily, "Thanks, but I have enough." I lean my head on Cobalt's shoulder.
-
Cobalt leans his head back. “If you insist, princess.”
-
"Besides, I'm supposed to be the one that blows exorbitant amounts of money on trivial things."
-
“Adventuring does that too. You’d be surprised how much money you can find in a town ravaged by monsters. And, how much people give you. I think I’ve got a savings account with a couple million in it...”
-
"Well. Interesting." I laugh.
-
“You should get into the adventuring business. We could investigate ancient temples and ruins together!”
-
"I don't need to become an adventurer for that." I chuckle.
-
“True, but it also turns you from ‘grave robber,’ to ‘treasure Hunter.’”
-
I hold up Cobalt's wallet, a sly grin on my face, "Or I could teach you how not to get caught."
-
Cobalt doesn’t appear to be phased. “You can have my wallet, if you want. It’s got $20 and a coupon for a large two topping pizza in it.”
-
I laugh, and examine the exterior, material, and shape of the wallet.
-
Its a simple brown leather wallet, small, and brown. The only thing of note is a small brass button that holds it closed.
-
I return it to his pocket with a grin.
-
Cobalt puts his hands on the table, drumming them up and down.
-
I interlace my fingers with his, and look at the back of his hand.
