It doesnt need a buff really...
People are just bad at using it.
I havent used warlock in PvP for 2 years ....first IB this season i try out the "weak" nova warp every warlock complains about.
Got my very first 7th column ever with the nades and super.
People say it charges slowly....that is a lie.
People say its warps are bad...that is also a lie.
People that say warp is bad simply cant use it.
It is simple.
If someone shoots you...you warp behind them and charge the half a second charge and kill everyone in a 10 meter radius.
And even better...use contraverse holds to tank a point blank shotgun blast and wreck them with EZ mode nades.
And contraverse work in super for a 80% damage reduction.

I got a 7th col with stormstrance, and it's widely known that's not great in pvp... Just because you wiped some terrible players doesn't mean its fine 🤦♂️ Typical EZ mode hunter kid though.

the reason people say warp is bad because they try to fight supers with it. you have to be very skillful or lucky to take out a super. it's a team wipe super and nothing more.

exactly. I usually do quite well on warp. or I did before stasis. I don't use warlock now because I don't want to deal with stasis like that. most people don't know how to use warp properly though. it's great for escaping shitty situations with 3 people pushing you or outrunning supers.

Just because you have luck with it doesn’t mean it’s good. You can use some of the worst guns and supers in the game and still do fine

Then make a detailed argument. You said you got a seventh column, so its good. I countered, saying getting a seventh column does not make something good. Those are more about luck than anything else. You then proceeded to say I’m biased, which is a fallacy, and could be said the same of you. Biased because you got a seventh column with it. Great, you play all the classes. Cool, you don’t call for nerfs. But those two things don’t make your opinion valuable.

Like i said...in my very first PvP match as a warlock in 2 years...while UNDERLEVELED i got my first 7th column EVER in the history of destiny in IB as nova warp. I was underleveled by 20 levels...so a 10% damage decrease from me to enemies and they did 10% more. And you call nova warp weak. A weak super cant get a 7th column in a light levelel enabled match .

That doesn’t make skyburners oath good. Once again, you may have gotten a seventh column because you are a good player in general playing a bunch of blueberries and were lucky enough to have the proper spawn pattern. One seventh column is not enough to call something good. Now, if you got one every game for the whole week of iron banner, sure, that could be proof. But that’s not what’s happening here. Plus, between my three weeks of Nova Warp only and your one session of Iron Banner, I think the argument of fact due to experience is in my court, not yours. M

Very weak argument. It’s pretty much the same as saying “I can get 50 kills in a few games with a scout rifle, so therefore they don’t need a buff” Not everyone plays the same as you, and playing a few games doesn’t equate to someone who actually mains the class: imagine if I, a warlock main, said middle tree sunbreaker doesn’t need a buff because I went on a few great kill streaks in 2 or 3 games, whilst almost every Titan main in existence wants the subclass tree to be buffed because they actually main the class and are familiar with its few advantages and many disadvantages. Btw I don’t have to point out to you that 6v6 game modes such as Iron Banner will give you better results since enemies are almost usually teamed up together capturing zones allowing for easier kills against those who don’t expect a warp. But that’s situational and it won’t happen all the time. Try using it in Trials or Survival and see how quick your tune changes.
