Can we talk about how the Exo Stranger time traveled?

This is probably not all correct. There are a lot of the new lore books that I need to sit down and read. If you think of one that would impact any of this, feel free to point me in the right direction. So, time travel, it's complicated. In the dark future, we all failed, darkness won. At the last moment the Traveler sent Elsie Bray back in time (maybe) and she starts over. She ends up after one of the times Cayde killed Taniks, so before we were raised as a Guardian, but after Andal Brask was killed. First question. Was she physically sent back, or was it a different form of time travel? There is no clear answer in the lore that I know of, so we will stick to theorising. Option one: the Traveler simply sent her back. Just the normal time travel shenanigans. In the same style as Back to the Future. Option 2: she was sent to another time line. This is what would actually effect the lore. If she was sent to another time line, there would be two Elizabeths. That would help explain the log books found in the DSC raid. The Elizabeth from that time line must have gone to the Morning Star to engage the nuclear failsafe and destroy Europa, and failed (again, maybe). If the first is true, then the current Elizabeth went to the DSC and tried to destroy it, which did happen. In her first iteration she tried to nuke the DSC. Clovis Bray killed her. Are these log books from that attempt? This would make some sense, except it is not stated that she was on the Morning Star at any time during this attempt, it was all on the surface. If the second is true, there is the question, when did the second Elsie go to the DSC to try to destroy it? Was it before the Elizabeth that we know appeared? Or was it recent? If it was recent, was she involved it the activation of the Crypt AI? When Elizabeth and Banshee deactivated Clovis, was it that they just flipped a switch to turn him off, and the Crypt Security just turned it back on? Did she try to start the Nuclear Descent protocol and accidentally restart the security and that lead to the Crypt AI being reactivating? However, given how smart all the Bray's are, especially Elizabeth, it is highly unlikely that she would make that mistake. Also, in the Log Books, who is she talking to? One of them says "I am taking care of this in your memory". Whose memory is she doing this in? I am going to switch gears a bit and go back to the time travel. I am going to introduce a third option. The Traveler basically turned back time and Elsie is the only one aware of it. Every time she fails, the clock is reversed and she starts over at the exact same point, no difference beside her new knowledge. This make it difficult to explain that Log books, but it is justified in some of the Dark Future books, her seeing the parade with Cayde multiple times. I guess this would be closer to Ground Hogs Day then Back to the Future. This may have gotten long winded and incoherent, but it should be enough to start some discussions.
