Whilst it's fairly pointless, it's not a big deal either.
Use your builds for a year, then make new ones...🤷♂️

Considering how Bungie has been rolling out Sunsetting I do exactly that now, get rid of any previous season non exotic. This way I don’t form attachments. Because who needs favorite gear and guns 😞

I've just been making builds with only 1410 stuff. That way they'll see me through the year. With ornaments and transmog there's no real need to get new armour, unless they introduce some with unique perks built in. Either way, it's not a massive deal. 🤷♂️
