Since the season pass gives a g roll armor set every season and they cycle through the which element it will be, it’s a way to sell season passes. That’s the only reason.

Did you read the TWAB? A lot of people are crying about it but I was actually pretty happy with the changes they’re making.

It reads to me like the season of the hunt pass will go away like normal but they are keeping some of the other season activities. I think it will be business as usual with season passes for now, especially since a lot of ppl have already paid for the year.
