I don't know about the Chaos Reach thing, but Arbalest needing a nerf has been a thing for a while now.

Arbalest has been around for a long time. The only time people really started to moan about it, is when it became one of the more frequent weapons to be used in trials.

Yes and no. There have been consistent calls for it to be nerfed, but they never gained traction. Now, more people realize it's busted, and want it gone.

The game doesn’t need to be ruined by an endless list of nerfs of anything that isn’t aping with HC/SG or that punishes people who ape with a HC/SG. The variety of options in the game is one of its strong suits, and nerfing everything that doesn’t fit a single specific play style sucks.

I'm not proposing making Arbalest useless, I just want flinch to actually work against it and for you to actually miss when you miss.

People keep whining for nerfs and eventually you're gonna start seeing posts that Stubborn Oak is OP. Do you not realize that some people will find anything to complain about and will never be happy?

And? That doesn't matter when the nerfs being asked for are actually warranted and reasonable.

And none of them about weapons are valid. There is no weapon in the game currently needing a nerf. There's some that need some love, sure, such as scout rifles, or specific archetypes of other weapon classes, but there are no game-breaking weapons in PvP at this point in time. People will just whine about any gun if it isn't one they use and somebody killed them with it. You do realize that the same person who made this thread also has another from one day ago whining about CHAOS REACH needing nerfed because he played against it in one crucible match, yes? People complain just to complain, and they're not valid complaints.

I don't care what else OP has complained about, this is a post about Arbalest. And it's not like OP is the only one requesting for the thing to get nerfed. Balancing involves a mix of both nerfs and buffs, you can't have only buffs or you wind up with a complete mess. Right now, we need more nerfs than we do buffs.

Alright, if the weapons are so well balanced, why then is something like Felwinters used so much more than anything else? I'll answer it for you- because it's objectively better. The antithesis of balance.

Lol yeah, he demanded a nerf to chaos reach because its broken/op...all because he played comp against someone who had 5 supers. (I mean, you can cancel the super and have another soon after, but ok lol)

That's hilarious. You can simply look up and see when Chaos Reach is charged and bait it because Chaos Reach has one of the slowest cast times of any super. Then they will have to cancel and then you just teamshot them. Geez.
