They don't have to hire anyone to fix it. Just remove Stasis from PvP. Leave it on Europa where it belongs.

  • I actually like it. Leave the ice on icemoon. How much more interesting would the game be if the light manifested itself differently on every destination. There'd be no more Nerf this talk. How refreshing. What a great idea.

  • Yes, and they should never have put Sunbreaker into PvP, should have left it on Mercury where it belonged. Never should have put Stormcaller into PvP either, it should have stayed on Mars where it belonged. Nightstalker shouldn't be in PvP either, it came from mars too. So that's where it should stay. That's how stupid you sound. Sunbreaker, Nightstalker, and Stormcaller were all DLC in Destiny 1, and were added post-release, just like Stasis. Stasis itself is strong, yeah, but people crutch on it so much that it actually makes them worse players overall, and makes it easy to beat them simply because if you can bait them into wasting their abilities, they become totally useless. If stasis should stay on Europa, then solar titans should be confined to mercury, and both arc warlocks and void hunters should be confined to mars. But that's not the case. Stasis isn't as busted as you think, and I'll die on that hill with confidence.

  • Night stalker, Sunbreaker, and Stormcaller weren't so overpowered that they completely render the other classes useless like Stasis does. Simply put, if you are not using stasis in the crucible, you are at a huge disadvantage. Yes, Stasis is a crutch and you might feel better if you don't have to crutch it. But that doesn't take away from the fact that Stasis blows the other classes completely out the water. If you don't think Stasis is busted, you are entitled to that opinion. But most, including me, would argue that you are extremely wrong. Instead of constantly nerfing the Stasis classes, which is what Bungie is going to have to do because the classes are simply overpowered in pvp, they should just remove them from pvp completely, or make a separate playlist for stasis where the classes can be enabled.

Their gun skill, movement, and game sense doesn’t suddenly decrease by -20 points if you equip stasis. It is another added perk. Now you just have Ice to freeze or slow anybody solid if they even come somewhat close to you 😂

  • You totally misunderstood. Relying on stasis too much results in: Thinking your abilities alone will win you most 1v1s. Using your guns less because you CAN use your abilities so often. Relying on stasis debuffs to stop or slow the enemy to make things easier for you. And because those things begin to dominate how you play, it results in: Crutching on your abilities to the point of being less sure of how to play without them. Deterioration of your gunplay skills. Consistent loss of your 1v1s when you waste or cant use your abilities. No, using stasis doesn't INSTANTLY make you a bad player. But the longer you use it, the worse you become at the game, and the easier you are to fight.

I know good players who use Stasis and don’t suddenly turn dumb enough to run in straight lines... Only a horrendous player would do this. This isn’t true unless you are like a bottom 99% player who has never touched an fps before and hops on D2 once in a blue moon.

  • Again, acting like I said it was instant when I very clearly said it's not. It's a GRADUAL CHANGE. It doesn't happen overnight. We only just saw the first wave of it before the shatterdive nerf. Hunters relying on it to win for them, being baited into wasting it, then losing their fights because they panicked because they lost their trump card. Obviously the better you are at the start, the slower it'll happen. But if you're going to tell me I'm wrong and that there's no proof, then you have no right to say that a skilled player is just flat out immune to it, because there's no proof of that either. Stasis is still relatively new. They're still finding a balance and people are still trying to learn to play around it. And those that use stasis, focusing on their abilities and expecting to win just because of them, ARE going to suffer in the long run.

  • No one except players of your caliber just run into a group of enemies to waste their shatterdive desperately. The casuals and trash cans are the only doing this and ruining the game with stasis. Good players still use their guns unlike low caliber players.
