Guided Games, LFG both on the Companion app as well as third-party sites, join a clan, etc. You have plenty of options to find raid groups. The fact that you don't have a group to run a raid falls much more heavily on you than it does anyone else. Matchmaking is a terrible idea. Bunch of randoms with no mics, not the right level, lacking gear that they've simply opted to not get themselves (Lament easily acquired solo, but people are lazy), etc. It all culminates in nobody completing the raid via matchmaking. If randoms can't figure out how to throw a ball in The Corrupted strike, how in the world do you think that would go trying to actually do raid mechanics. Honestly, I hope Bungie actually does put in the matchmaking for a little while. Solely just to show people like you that the thing you're whining for is a terrible idea. Guaranteed you'd be back on here whining about how much of a disaster it is if they ever did it. Make friends, use the plethora of avenues to get into a raid group, and stop complaining. A raid completion isn't going to just fall into your lap. Put forth the effort. It's not a handout.
