If a ghosts guardian dies then cant they just revive them, You can being up shin malpher but im 90% sure that story was devised to just be a story and was a unique 1 time scenario where the guardian just didn’t revive anymore Since ghosts and guardians are linked if the guardian loses his light supplied to him by his ghost then the ghost should be dead as well right? Cayde was using light up until his ghost was shot and when that happened he had no more light.

Dredgen Yor probably lost his light, but his ghost is alive(hinted at by whatever lore book by Shin Malthur was most recently written (if it wasn’t that one I know for sure it was written by Shin, just comb through Thorn’s and Lumina’s lore books and he will mention a ghost he talks to.)) Actually, Jaren Ward also lost his light when Thorn killed him, but his ghost lived. In the pigeon and the Phoenix, they say a ghost is going to find a new guardian after Osiris killed the old one.[spoiler]I am concluding based on the last paragraph and Confession of Hope, that a ghost can get a new guardian, but can not have multiple.[/spoiler]
