Yes, grinding for loot is the only fun part of this game. If you never have to grind for armor ever again because you have an optimal armor set and it will never be sunset, then the purpose for playing ceases to exist.

That's why MMOs add new, slightly better armor sets with expansions. But without making the previous gear obsolete. Bungie took it to a whole different level of -blam!- by making previous sets obsolete every 1-3 seasons and re-introducing the same exact gear next.

So by shrinking the choice of armour, is increasing the fun? What? Can I get a translator in here? Cuz, mine's borked.

But that's how it's been for the last few years. I enjoyed it way mir than the feelings I get now.

You could always play the game for, you know, fun??
You could always play the game for, you know, fun??
Not this lot, they don’t believe in playing the game for fun. They need a reason to play. No loot, no point.

I cry a massive BS on this whole concept. It's even compound exponentially by the fact you are always looking to replace your armor and then there's the fact that you farm and farm and farm for great stats and when you get them they are on a piece that will be sunset in the next season or two so why bother. Then there's the insanely high price of master working them. That's 5 items on 3 characters times multiple times per year forever. Explain to me how that's actually a good thing again?!?!
