Might be possible, if ghost just needs dna. There is dna in everything that touches a person. Even poop has dna, so might be possible to resurrect from a piece of fossilized poop.

  • DNA has a lifespan, it doesn’t exist forever They probably use some form of magic to revive people

  • It's a long lifespan. If it's frozen it can last thousands of years

  • Thats not necessarily true, it can be damaged in that process and be damaged when its thawed out

  • Aren’t we going off what the guy we replied off to said? As well a known law is you cant make something out of nothing. If the dna is dead and that is needed to make a guardian resurrect then how will the DNA be brought back? (Once DNA dies its pretty much useless it breaks down so it cant be remade)

  • Worth noting teeth are what last the longest after death, capable of lasting for thousands of years of well maintained (lol whoops) unless you count grave wax (which I’m unsure if it has dna it in or not) However with no real time frame to work from its hard to say if anyone from our time would be preserved. I’d argue that colonizing planets and breaking light speed probably wasn’t a 100-200 year project. Even with a space machine god thing, that’s probably a multi-millennium undertaking to commercialize it as much as we commonly see it.

Bones last a long time but the issue is DNA, it wont last forever at all, it will die quite fast unless it is replicated which it cant do without something living (thats why you decompose when you die, your dna cant replicate so cells cant split)

  • I cant tell if you started going along with me or not but im going too. The whole notion of paracausality is breaking the laws of physics. Guardians create something out of nothing all the time. And even if the DNA is broken down into atoms i think the ghost can rebuild it through space magic In science however once DNA is destroyed its useless. That's why we can't remake dinosaurs.

  • The Light and Dark still abide by the laws of physic they just bend them. I cant remember exactly what Arc, Solar and Void are in (i guess youd call it this) advanced terms, but Stasis is entropy and the darkness bends that when you use stasis. All the elements come from somewhere the light just focuses it, as for how guardians resurrect its just a guess, but When DNA dies and breaks up there is nothing to bring back even the most basic building block of life is gone and destroyed. Thats like if something gets disassembled molecule by molecule you could remake it (with space magic) but you wouldn’t have what was dismantled but something new instead (kinda different but i hope it gets the point across that you cant remake something exactly the way it was and that goes for DNA)
