Im waitin for the day people ask for GM matchmaking like they are for ToO
Some people dont get what endgame is
(Gm nightfalls reminds me of D1 Y1 nightfalls, i miss those days of getting strange coins)

Matchmaking for trials is a complex issue but probably a net positive given the state of the playlist at the moment. One stipulation would be the chance for getting tokens for a loss. This would populate trials with players of all skill ranges. The benefit and drawback, average skill level one would encounter would drop. A benefit because trials would be more accessible and a drawback because prestige would somewhat drop. The latter can be fixed by making the requirement for the title harder to achieve. So essentially, make it easier to attain non adept gear while making it harder to get the flawless title.

Agreed, but the point was in game matchmaking for nightfalls less than master. IMO endgame Nightfall starts at master and ends with GM. I understand the reasoning behind not having master/gm have in game matchmaking.. actually, heres a better idea.. have an option for in game / have an option like it currently is.. those that want to just queue up can those who want to invest time looking for players on LFG can do that.. win win.

I think the reason they dont have matchmaking at legend is because of the modifers, i think once you have more then 3 bungie thinks its endgame

The Division 1 had the same problem initially with Incursions which were hard as hell on release and eventually as more played and understood, it got easier and more widely playable till they added more difficulty content like Legendary Missions and more Incursion missions. (not saying add these) but its an example. as many have said, MM should be an "opt in" option, its literally that simple. it literally does not effect the hardcore players who use LFG or clan's to form premades to get it done quicker or to have repeatable farming of it. if people are worried about "mods" its literally a simple solution to say "pls have x mod equipped to start MM" if bungie and everyone are so concerned with "players not running mods" its literally not hard to block MM without one or both mods equipped.

Edited by 123TheCloop: 1/24/2021 6:07:40 AMerm no it didnt....... pvp just had a quicker way to farm gear if you followed the routes to farm DZ Bosses, so dont even try to pull that crap, as someone who had well over 1500 hours in The Division 1, it wasnt even anywhere near that. But that still has zero relation to my comment made above about Incursion MM and how it had issues initially but players got over it and learnt the mechanics, and its easily a much harder system than D2 simply due to the nature of min-maxing gear and running specific builds for the incursions.
