Well, he didn’t always have lightning powers. Back when he murdered me he just had a rapier and some stick glue stuff. Seems weird he’d have a lightning based last name when he wasn’t born with lightning powers. . . . And, it’s kind of a weird last name even [i]with[/i] the lightning powers.

If I recall, it's one of those earned name type deals. He got his name when he got the glove.
